What people ask before booking JPX Studios: how far ahead to lock a date, how a quote is built, how many images land in the gallery, how fast, and what happens on the day itself. Anything not covered here, just ask.

Booking

We do not charge an hourly rate. We charge per project. Review our photography packages and deliverables, then send over the details of what you are planning. You will get a quote built around the actual scope.

Two to four weeks is comfortable for events, and longer during fashion week and the December run. Portrait sessions are more flexible and can often happen within the same week. Requests made at the last minute are worth asking about.

Yes. JPX Studios is based in New York City and available across the US, including the Hamptons, New Jersey, and anywhere the event takes us. Travel is quoted with the project.

Absolutely. We cover everything from presentations, interviews, event recaps and many more. Photo and video come from the same team on the same night, so you are not managing two vendors.

Absolutely. Studio product work on clean or black backgrounds, plus lifestyle and street context frames. Recent product campaigns include 8Ball Energy and Roses Forever.

Yes. Large activations, venues with multiple rooms, and stadium shows get a second shooter or a full team, plus a dedicated video operator when the event needs both. The coverage plan and the edit stay under one point of contact.

Terms

If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, send us the venue’s requirements when you book the date. We arrange cover ahead of the shoot so the requirement does not delay or block your booking.

Tell us how you plan to use the images so we can agree on usage rights with your quote. We write the agreed use into the quote and scope it to what your project needs.

We hold your date once we agree on the quote. Any deposit and payment terms are set out in that quote, so you can review them before you agree.

We set out what happens if your date moves or your event is called off in the same agreement as your booking terms. Moving a date is treated differently from cancelling outright. Get in touch when your plans change so we can talk through the next steps.

The Shoot

Yes. I will guide you through the process step by step, from where to stand to what to do with your hands. Most people relax within the first few minutes once they see the back of the camera.

Create a Pinterest board of looks you like and send it over before the session. We will talk it through and pick outfits that work with the location and the light. Bring options.

Deliverables

A retouched portrait session delivers around 10 to 12 images. An event is a different scale: you get 80+ edited images, and more for coverage lasting a full day or spanning multiple rooms.

Selects sized for social within 48 hours, with full galleries typically delivered within two weeks, depending on scope. If the campaign is running live, a selected set can go out the same night.

Usually a recap film in the 60 to 90 second range, a shorter cut for paid placement, and vertical versions built for the feed. Interview footage, longer edits, and raw files are available on request.

Prints

Yes. Street and night frames from the New York archive are released as limited editions, signed, and printed on archival paper. Sizes and availability vary by image, so inquire through the contact page.
