Mirabiliae Editorial

New York City

Warm window light and leafy plants framed a model in a matching pink knit set for Mirabiliae’s SS26 fashion editorial. Jenya photographed the collection in a working studio in New York City in September 2025, with other frames using studio light against a brown backdrop with framed prints. The shoot focused on silhouette, texture and movement as models turned toward or away from the light. Wider compositions included plants, lighting stands and the edges of the set. The delivered gallery of 103 frames combined photographs of the collection on models with views of the production around them.

The first priority was the collection on the body: silhouette, texture, movement, and the way each look changed as a model turned toward or away from the source. JPX Studios then widened the compositions to include leaves, stands, and the edges of the set where they added structure. Light was controlled enough to preserve the garments but not polished so heavily that the images lost the atmosphere of the room.

The resulting editorial moves between clean fashion photographs and context from behind the scenes. That combination gives Mirabiliae useful views of the collection while also documenting the collaborative process around it. The work reads as intentional rather than accidental because the equipment and environment support the composition, showing where the clothes were photographed and how the team brought them to camera.
