Subjective Art Festival: a full production weekend
Subjective · Full Production Coverage
September 2024
Fast light changes and a dense crowd shaped the coverage of Soundmint’s launch party at Lume Studios in Tribeca, Manhattan, in June 2022. The event introduced its generative music platform during NFT NYC, with a set by DJ San Holo. Before doors, JPX Studios photographed the stage and suspended light installation. During the set, Jenya worked between the DJ booth, visuals, and audience. With little room for staged photographs, Jenya timed frames to musical and lighting cues, keeping enough shutter speed for movement. The delivered gallery brings together production photographs of the space, wide views of the lighting rig, performance images of San Holo at the booth, and close images of audience reactions.
JPX Studios documented the overhead installation and stage before doors, then worked between the DJ booth, visuals, and audience throughout the set. Fast light changes and a dense crowd left little room for staged photographs, so Jenya timed frames to musical and lighting cues while maintaining enough shutter speed for movement. Wide views preserved the scale of the rig; close images focused on performance and reaction.
The completed gallery shows SoundMint’s technology launch through the live culture surrounding it. Production photographs record the custom environment, performance frames center San Holo and the booth, and crowd images communicate the energy of the NFT NYC audience. Together they explain how the platform used generative music and immersive design to create a physical first impression.
