Party crowd silhouetted against green and purple projections at the Vertical Crypto Art event

Vertical Crypto Art

LED monitors and projections carried the artwork across two floors at Lume Studios in Tribeca, Manhattan. In May 2022, Vertical Crypto Art presented ART & NFT: The Digital Roots there as a one day pop up exhibition. Jenya photographed individual works as they played, the projection system, installation views and the audience. The changing images meant adjusting exposure and shutter timing to each piece. Viewers stood silhouetted against green and purple projections, and Jenya framed the opening so silhouettes and phone screens did not overwhelm the art. JPX Studios delivered a gallery documenting individual works, wider views of the installation and candid photographs of people navigating the space.

JPX Studios recorded individual works as they played, the full projection system, and the relationships between images across the room. During the opening, Jenya incorporated viewers without allowing silhouettes or phone screens to overwhelm the art. Exposure and shutter timing followed the moving pieces so color and detail remained faithful while the audience and physical venue stayed present.

The completed gallery translates an experiential digital exhibition into a useful still record. Clean frames preserve specific works and installation views, wider photographs explain the immersive scale, and candid images show people navigating the interactive space. Together they give VerticalCrypto Art documentation of both its curatorial program and the audience experience that formed around it.
