Soundmint · Brand activation
June 2022
In November 2023, Espolon’s Día de los Muertos activation brought calavera visuals and animated skeleton artwork to the walls of Lume Studios in Tribeca, Manhattan. JPX Studios photographed the complete artwork before doors opened, then covered the bar, bottles, cocktails and guests. Jenya also filmed the activation for a recap film. The wall animation changed color every few seconds, so Jenya waited for moments when the imagery supported the action and the bottle labels remained visible. Wider photographs documented the room and its projections, while close details showed the tequila and its service. The delivery included a gallery of 173 frames and a recap film, with photographs covering the commissioned artwork, products and guests within the projections.
JPX Studios recorded the complete artwork before doors, then photographed the bar, bottles, cocktails, and audience within it. Because the animation changed color every few seconds, Jenya waited for frames in which the wall imagery supported the action in front of it and kept labels visible. Wider photographs established the immersive scale, while close details connected the experience directly to the tequila and its service.
The final gallery preserves the commissioned visual work as well as the celebration it created. Clean environmental images document the production, product photographs give Espolòn recognizable brand assets, and candid coverage shows guests moving through the projected calavera world. The sequence communicates the activation’s Día de los Muertos theme through the actual design and interactions in the room.
