Visitor walks through an Adidas Originals basketball gallery with hanging Forum sneakers and framed artwork

The brief for Adidas in June 2022 was to document the Find Your Forum activation at Lume Studios in Tribeca, Manhattan, in photographs and a recap film. The Forum Forever pop up exhibit paired archival and newly released Forum sneakers with work from more than 16 artists, using LED walls for a multimedia installation. Before guests arrived, Jenya photographed the artwork, footwear and arrangement of the screens. During the programmed evenings, coverage included performers, individual works and the audience moving through the exhibition. The LED walls could change brightness and color between frames, so Jenya adjusted exposure to the screens while timing frames to preserve faces and details of the shoes. Adidas received a gallery of 76 frames and a recap film.

JPX Studios documented the exhibition before guests arrived, when the artwork, footwear, and relationship between screens could be seen without interruption. During the programmed evenings, Jenya shifted between wide views, individual works, performers, and the audience moving through the display. LED walls can change brightness and color between frames, so the exposure followed the screens while timing preserved faces and the physical details of the Forum.

The completed gallery connects the product to the artists, music, and New York setting around it. Clean installation photographs give Adidas a record of the build, while layered crowd images show the activation operating as a live cultural event. Together they explain the Find Your Forum idea through place and participation instead of reducing the night to isolated sneaker photographs.
