Amazon Influencers' Dinner
The dining tables carried changing floral projections for the Amazon Influencers’ AAPI Heritage Month dinner in May 2023. Held at Lume Studios in Tribeca, Manhattan, the dinner brought entrepreneurs and creators together around products from brands with AAPI owners. Jenya photographed the room before service, then the featured products, place settings, food and conversations around the table. JPX Studios also filmed the dinner for a recap. With the dining surface lit by changing projections, Jenya timed frames to preserve detail in the projected flowers while keeping guests and brand names readable. The coverage moved between wide views of the tables, product details and candid photographs of creators talking over dinner. Delivery included a gallery of 158 frames and a recap film.
JPX Studios photographed the room at full scale before service, then moved closer to the featured products, place settings, food, and conversations around the table. Projection on a dining surface is constantly changing and usually brighter than the people beside it. Jenya timed photographs for moments when the animation supported the composition, protecting detail in the projected flowers while keeping guests and brand names readable.
