Lenovo x AMD: Masters production

Lume Studios, Tribeca, Manhattan

Pink and blue gradient lighting washed the stage at Lume Studios in New York City for the Lenovo x AMD Mix Masters production in May 2022. Jenya photographed the set, talent and brand marks, along with the camera jib, monitors and crew. As the lighting changed color, Jenya tracked exposure and white balance from shot to shot. Jenya also filmed the production during the same pass, giving the stills and recap film the same grade and point of view. JPX Studios delivered a gallery of 127 frames and a recap film, covering the stage and the work happening behind the rig.

Lenovo and AMD built a studio production called Masters, and I covered it from the floor. The set was a stage washed in gradient lighting, which looks incredible on camera and shifts color on you every time the operator touches a fader.

Corporate productions have two audiences. The client needs the polished frames of the set, the talent, and the brand marks in the right place. The internal team needs the working frames: the rig, the monitors, the crew, the day as it actually ran.
