Corporate coverage is a schedule problem before it is a lighting problem. Jenya Mironov photographs New York panels, summits, studio productions, and company parties against a run of show: the keynote slide that has to be readable, the speaker caught while speaking rather than blinking, the sponsor wall with someone in front of it, the networking hour that is the only part anyone remembers. Lenovo x AMD ran as a full stage production, Dropbox and Solana as programmed days, McKinney as a holiday party with a city night in the glass. None of them wanted a flash bounced off the ceiling, so the room stays lit the way the production team lit it.
That is how these are planned. Send the schedule and the list of moments that have to exist afterwards, and the coverage is built backwards from it, including which sessions can be sacrificed if two things overlap.
Yes, and it is the main technical constraint. Screens are brighter than the people in front of them and refresh on their own clock, so exposure and shutter get set for the wall first and the room is lit up to meet it, rather than blowing the slide out to save a face.
Often the most useful addition. A lit corner near the registration desk turns downtime into a clean portrait for everyone who walks past, and it comes back as a consistent set rather than twelve different backgrounds.
